NEW QUICK CHANGE LIGHTWEIGHT RACING SPROCKETS

All NEW CNC machined aluminum racing sprockets from Midwest Mini. These are the lightest sprockets on the market today for the 120 snowmobiles. They are machined from 7075 Aircraft Alloy and feature a unique quick change keyhole profile in the center. Unlike the competition, this allows the sprockets to be quickly changed without having to remove the hub mounting bolt first making gear changes much easier to do in the garage or at the track. (All of our gearing kits now include these new sprockets). Sprockets must be used only with the quick change hubs. 43-44T in stock now. Others sizes available upon request.

120 RACING CLUTCH AND GEARING KIT

The stock 120's have a very heavy 40 size chain and sprockets which have a lot of inherent drag which hurts performance. The stock gear ratio is also designed to keep the sled down to a safe and often rather boring 7mph. This kit will cure that problem for good!

Racing Clutch-High Performance unit with a higher engagement rpm for better take-offs. Includes Racing Clutch, Quick Change Sprocket Hub, Aluminum Sprocket and a #35 Racing Chain. Speed is generally in the 20+ mph range with these kits. Try one of our Intake Kits or Governor Springs for even more mph and horsepower.

ECONOMY SPEED GEARING KIT

Not Racing? Just want some more speed for play around the trails? Then this kit is ideal for you! Governor Springs Not Included with these kits.

Includes a new 13T clutch drum to convert your stock 40 size chain over to the preferred 35 size. Also included are a quick change hub, Aluminum sprocket and chain. Simple bolt-on installation will get the speed up close to 20mph. For even more speed try our Intake Kits orEconomy Performance kits that include a stronger governor spring.

Midwest Mini Exclusive!! This Spring Loaded chain tensioner is easy to install & replaces the weak factory spring loaded tensioners on the Arctic Cat Z 120 / Yamaha SRX120 and the Ski Doo MiniZ 120 models which never worked all that well. This tensioner constantly keeps proper alignment billet aluminum pivot arm that easily bolts to the side of the tunnel and a ball bearing type sprocket for accurate chain tracking. This tensioner can also be used as a manual tensioner if desired by not using the spring and just adjusting the sprocket in the slot. Tensioner kits work with all of our 35 chain conversions. POLARIS owners please read YELLOW note below:

Polaris has a slot in the tunnel, so only a sprocket is needed and it's a great upgrade from the stock roller which often gets grooved causing the chain to run off the new sprocket.

#35 CHAIN BREAKER

Our gear kits include 3ft. of #35 chain which must be cut to the correct length for your machine and sprocket combination. While there are several ways to do this including grinding off one of the pins, This #35 Chain Breaker uses a pin press to "break" chain to the desired length. Also has a flat press used to assemble chain without a master link. This way a chain can easily be made longer if desired for larger sprockets. A quality addition to any tool box!
